The Grove
Historic Relocation & Restoration
West Los Angeles, CA

The Grove is a delicate cluster of Craftsman style cottages designed in the 1930s in the English cottage tradition by architect Alan Siple. The project involved relocating the four buildings two blocks down the street and re-orienting their axis to face the central access court of the new Atria West office building.

These buildings now provide ancillary services to the office building.  In order to comply with today’s more stringent building codes, as well as to meet today’s more demanding functional requirements, RLA completely rebuilt and re-structured the existing historic cottages.
